Neil Canning talks about “painting what it is like to move through the landscape.” Linking with Franz Kline, Barbara Hepworth and Terry Frost’s ideas about representing movement, learn about abstraction and applying thick oil paint with card spatulas, where the surface of the painting becomes relief.
