Explore ways of describing peripheral vision by overlapping washes of acrylic on canvas to create an almost completely abstract start point.  Once this non-pictorial part of the painting is dry, the focal point of tree forms can be introduced. We are delighted to have received funding from the International Tree Foundation, which enables us to plant 1100 whips of native species of hedgerow at Asthall Manor. We’re looking for volunteers to help to plant the whips across our Cowshed Field, (opposite Asthall Manor) with the hope to link up the biodiversity of the Asthall Manor Kitchen garden with the Asthall allotments and beyond.
