Mapping on form
\5th July 2014
We are trying to weave the sculpture into the garden so that it settles and feels like it belongs. We think about scale, stone type, style, degrees of abstraction. We have to think about the technical aspects too – how the sculpture will be delivered, and how it will be moved into its final position. Not everything can go everywhere. And, most importantly, we have to think about the relationship between the sculpture, the garden and the landscape beyond.
