Five more on form days to go!
If you haven’t yet come to see us this year, we really hope you can find time to visit us during our final week, which runs from Wednesday 6 July to Sunday 10 July. It will be your last chance before 2018, as this is a biennial exhibition. If you’re looking for a sculpture, you could not find a more diverse and inspiring array, and if you’re looking for a wonderful day out, including hours of wandering through the garden and sculptures, a visit to the Madhatter Bookshop and lunch or tea at the Potting Shed cafe – well, here’s what some of our visitors have said:
I arrived as a 65-year-old and I left as an 8-year old
After walking through the main gateway, suddenly the most amazing vista unfolded and we knew that we were in a special place.
what a feast to the eye and the soul
we were just so happy to be walking in the gardens and being able to touch feel and see such beautiful art work amongst cornflowers and red poppies. The sculptures turn the natural surroundings into sculptures and the surroundings turn the sculptures into nature again. Amazing.
[our group] loved the Cotswold charm, the sculptures and their setting, the Potting Shed and delicious food and quirky charm, the chance to unwind and appreciate natural beauty and noble stone, far from madding crowds.
a lifesaving day out
Some special extras for our final week:
THEATRE: On Thursday 7 & Friday 8 July, Scary Little Girls will perform their immersive piece, The Ghosts behind the Stones, devised to celebrate the history of Asthall Manor, from its beginnings in the 1600s to its life as a World War 1 convalescent home; from its inspirational role in the development of the outrageous Mitford family to its glorious re-invention as the home of on form, the celebrated exhibition of sculpture in stone.
ART WORKSHOPS: On Friday 8 July, Mindful Drawing with Anna Black
On Saturday 9 July, Collage with Emmie van Biervleet
FOOD: On Saturday 9 July, a Moroccan Feast at the Potting Shed, with Rob Broadbent of Lynwood, in Lechlade, and Max Abbott from Sourdough Revolution.
on form 16 will close on Sunday 10 July 2016. Opening hours are from 12 noon to 6pm,
with late night until 9pm on Thursday. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We’d love you to visit with your children but please keep them with you at all times. Encourage them to touch the sculptures gently.
We welcome Eco-friendly arrivals:
All those who arrive at on form without a car (we are a fairly trusting lot, but bicycle-clips, walking boots, canoe-paddles, etc will help to persuade us) will receive a free glass of cordial at our Potting Shed Café – come and ask us for a voucher at the front desk.
