Hicksmade
I’m a potter based in Oxfordshire, working with stoneware clay to explore unique shapes and
textures. Each piece I create is wheel-thrown and individually crafted. While I aim to make visually
beautiful pieces, they are first and foremost functional—designed for everyday use and to bring a bit
of joy to daily life!

By The Hedge
We make honey and grow wool. We craft imperfect objects out of the foraged and the found;
some for beauty and others for their practical use. We spin yarn, both fibre and folklore.
Amongst other hedgerow offerings, when able to we produce small batch, single estate honey
which is untreated, cold-filtered and jarred by hand from hives in the North Cotswolds. Providing
a glimpse into an English pastoral; a nascent collective, manifesting tales and wares of the
seasonal smallholder.

Earth Ale
Earth Ale is all about bringing people together, and closer to nature, with artisan beers inspired
by natural and foraged ingredients. Brewed by a Michelin-trained chef, they’re passionate about
quality ingredients and pairing their beers with good food and good people.

Freedom of the Press
Freedom of the Press is a micro winery based in Minster Lovell making small batches of top
quality still wine using grapes sourced from the best sites in the country, primarily the Crouch
Valley in Essex. The wines are listed in some of the top restaurants and have received rave
reviews.

David Knight and Nigel Hancock are members of the Oxfordshire Bodgers
A local green woodworking group who carve beautiful objects from freshly cut wood. Spoons,
bowls and cups are our speciality, where form meets function for a unique and individual gift.
