Gabriele Risso

Gabriele Risso was born in 1992 in Genoa. From a very young age, Gabriele participated and collaborated in the family farm where he learnt how to build his own games with just working tools. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa and finished his studies in Paris. Today he lives and works in London as an assistant to sculptor, Paul Vanstone who is also featured in on form 22 exhibition.

Sometimes I have dreamed of digging into stone blocks as big as buildings. Maybe that’s why I started to sculpt walls. The reliefs that will be shown at the on form exhibition in 2022 are portions of wall, nomadic walls by convention.
